The Brain's Attachment to Creativity
Welcome to 2023!
I was reading a book sometime last year when I came across information about how the brain and spinal cord are connected, as well as how the brain is where our imaginations are housed. "The human central nervous system consists of the brain and the spinal cord. From these two structures branch out a network of fibers, similar to a telephone network, which link the entire body together. The fibers are called nerves. These nerves are one-way paths which either feed information to the central nervous system or carry commands from the system to the whole body." (The Fourth Dimension by Yonggi Cho). Along with many other mental processes including consciousness and abstract cognition, the neocortex and thalamus are in charge of managing the brain's imagination.
The question is "How does the brain affects our Creativity?"
Personally, I became aware of the fact that our brains are capable of turning our thoughts into images and causing those images to have an impact on reality. Thus, your thoughts are the source of your imagination, which is then processed by the brain into actual physical movements. As a result, the quality of your knowledge can influence your creative strength. Simply increase your interest in learning more about a particular topic to increase your level of creativity in that area.
Einstein once said, "I have no special talent, I am only passionately curious."
The most successful individuals have one thing in common: they never stop learning. They have a voracious curiosity and a burning need to learn about the world, other people, and novel things. No matter their chronological age, they are constantly in awe of and excited by life. That reminds me of the childlike nature.
But the emphasis in educational systems is on memorization and conformity. And by puberty, the majority of us have lost our sense of wonder, innate curiosity, and hunger for learning.
This has to be rewritten if it is your story.
The world is changing at warp speed. To succeed in the future, you must continually learn and update yourself. And the most effective way to do this is to reawaken your innate curiosity and desire to learn.
If you are eager to learn new things, endless possibilities and opportunities will come your way.
Become more adaptable, open yourself to new ideas, and learn to solve problems in creative and innovative ways, and you will be in great demand.
Finally, to rule the world, you must first rule yourself.
Commit to a path of consistent self-transformation.
Wake up each day and make it the best day of your life. Be curious, be passionate, be filled with wonder, and the world will be yours.
Let’s make this year phenomenal!
Cheers,
